3. What should be noted when using Bentonite grease?

Bentonite-based greases are excellent greases for heat- and load-bearing gear bearings; however, the thickener in the grease is not compatible with most other thickeners.
This incompatibility can cause hardening or softening of the grease. Soft melted grease can lead to a number of problems, such as not allowing the rollers to be properly lubricated. Solidified grease can lead to even worse problems, as the grease can no longer flow into the bearing cavity, causing the bearing to lack lubrication.
